What It Used To Be encompasses how fast life is moving and how the only constant is change. Despite the growth we’ve experienced throughout the years, we’ll always have memories of our youth that we hold dear. Painting an image for listeners to visualize, the song inhibits vivid descriptions of our childhood moments we cherish. This is what we want to tell our listeners – Turn off your notifications for a moment and bask in the now. You’ve earned a short escape from reality.
